We have joined the MAP IV project in the territory of the Litomyšl Regional District!
The project Local Action Plan for the Development of Education on the territory of the Litomyšl IV Regional Municipality, reg. number CZ.02.02.XX/00/23_017/0008290 is implemented and financed with the support of the ESF, the Operational Programme Jan Amos Komenský, the state budget and the city budget. Its aim is to deepen cooperation and involvement of relevant actors from the territory in the process of planning and updating of the MAP development of education, improving the quality of education in kindergartens and primary schools and evaluating the impact of the activities implemented by the project.

PROJECT DAYS
The workshops are on the topics of ANIMATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY and SUSTAINABLE DESIGN. We have prepared six of them (three project days will take place this year and three in 2025).
FIRST PROJECT DAY

What’s it gonna be about?
Lecturers from the association ULTRAFUN, who cooperate with the Karel Zeman Museum in Prague, will guide pupils through the world of animation during the workshop, introducing them to basic animation techniques, which pupils will then try out.

AFTERNOON ANIMATION CLUB
We offer pupils of schools involved in MAP the opportunity to attend an animation club. During the eight afternoon sessions we will try to write a script, create a storyboard, prepare a scene and perform the animation itself.
The club will be designed for children from 10 to 15 years old. Students will develop their artistic skills (spatial imagination, modelling, drawing, working with materials) and digital literacy (animation techniques, video production, working with sound, etc.).
The first run of the ring will take place in autumn 2024, the second run in spring 2025.
